Impact

It took years to finally legalize birth control, but during that time, society for women changed. Margaret Sanger ferociously battled the government in the fight for the end of the Comstock Act and safe contraception. She inspired women and men alike to change the way they feel about sex and their bodies.

It was about choosing what they wanted to do with their bodies and allowing them to choose their own futures. Sanger broke barriers for the limits of what a women’s choice for her body meant and was.

Legacy

It is thanks to Margaret Sanger who put up a relentless fight to break barriers in order for women to flourish.
